Who we are

A churning of ideas, effort and hope

Meraki Manthan is a registered non-profit society working across India to empower underserved communities through health, education and sustainable livelihoods — with dignity, self-reliance and hope at its core.

Founded in 2020 and registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, Meraki Manthan grew from a simple belief — that real change is built patiently, hand in hand with the community.

  • Dignity and self-reliance at the centre of everything
  • Programmes designed with — not just for — communities
  • Transparent, accountable and rooted in Bihar, reaching all India
Our approach

How lasting change takes root

A simple, repeatable cycle that moves a community from awareness all the way to self-reliance.

STEP 01

Awareness

We listen to communities and build awareness around health, rights and opportunity.

STEP 02

Training

We equip people with education and skills that unlock real, lasting choices.

STEP 03

Support

We stand beside families with resources, care and relief when it matters most.

STEP 04

Self-Reliance

We help communities become confident, self-reliant and able to give back.
